Carl Clegg is a writer, graphic artist, photographer, video producer and all around go-to-guy for creativity, inspiration and leadership.
Where it all began: After five years in the Marine Corps, Carl started a business called Corporal Clegg Music where he managed rock and roll bands. His creative duties included, among other things, band logo design and photography. Being poor all the time was less than fun and back into the military he went, but in the Army this time. With four years under his belt, and tours in Iraq and Korea, Carl set off to chase his dream of being a starving artist.
He completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College and obtained certificates in both Graphic Design and Website Design from Greenville Technical College. Oh, and he graduated from the U.S. Military’s Defense Information School as a Combat Correspondent, enabling him to shoot, write, edit and produce feature and news stories for the Air Force. He also managed to wrestle away an Associate Degree in Public Affairs from the Community College of the Air Force.
He is married to the very beautiful Erin Lord Clegg, has a lovely daughter named Emerson and lives and works in the greater Charlotte area. He continues to serve both state and nation as a Public Affairs Specialist and First Sergeant in the South Carolina Air National Guard.
